Stronger Materials
The Topolino rim is extruded out of an enhanced 6000 series aluminum alloy that is significantly stronger than the 6061-T6 utilized by most rim manufacturers. This means that the rims have greater durability and fatigue life.

Machined Brake Track
Our brake track is machined after the rim is formed to provide a smooth, consistently high-friction surface for optimum brake modulation.

Welded Seam
The rim seam is welded instead of being pinned or sleeved, providing a high strength joint with a 100% consistent and even brake track surface.

Optimized Profile
Our rim section has a full 19mm width and 19mm height, for excellent tire support and durability. The variable-wall design puts the strength where it is needed and saves weight where it is not. (Beware of narrow rims that may be lighter, but compromise strength, stiffness and tire support.)

Aero Profile
While the Topolino rim was designed primarily for lightness and is not a “deep” section rim, we paid special attention to its shape, which features a teardrop profile that optimizes the aerodynamics for the 19mm deep rim.
